•  Former Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at AIIMS, Delhi. On a national and worldwide scale, I am involved in the promotion of Child Neurology.

• She earned her MBBS from the famous Delhi University and her MD from the prestigious AIIMS in Delhi. The Honourable President of India bestowed this honour unto her.

• She has also helped to establish a new speciality in the nation, Paediatric Neurology.

• She is the Founder and President of the Association of Child Neurology of India, headquartered in New Delhi; Former President of the Asian Oceanian Child Neurology Association, headquartered in Tokyo; Chairperson of the International Child Neurology Association's Educational Committee, headquartered in Brussels.
