• Dr. Vishal Agarwal is currently serving as the Associate Director of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali.

• He is a well-known Cardiac Surgeon with vast experience of 25 years.

• He started the Open Heart Surgery Programme at Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Ghaziabad.

• He graduated from Aurangabad University with an M.B.B.S. in 1998 and an M.S. (General Surgery) in 2003. He also earned his M.Ch (CTVS) from Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Medical Medical College in Kanpur in 2008.

• He has successfully done the first instance of QAV+ Severe AR+ Anomalous RCA in India, out of a total of 11 patients worldwide.

• He was the first to do paediatric open heart surgery on a table using an ultrafast extubation process.

• He is recognised for executing the first Beating Heart CABG on a patient with an ejection fraction of 13-15 percent.

• He is a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (IACCTS).
