• Yaşar MesutPekcan graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, in 1971. Later, in 1980 he completed his specialization training from Gulhane Military Medical Academy.
• He started his career in 1995  with an Internship at Gulhane Military Medical
  Academy, Ankara, and then he joined Air Force Academy as a Health Supervisor. In addition, he served at Lifemed Medical Center, Aksoy Hospital, Yuzuncu Yil Hospital, and Cag Hospital.
• He also headed the Department of Endocrine Surgery and Physiology Department during his years-long association with Gulhane Military Medical Academy.
• He specializes in treating multiple diseases, like - Pancreatic, Biliary, Endocrine, and Laparoscopic Surgery.
• He has over 45 years of experience as General Surgeon, and has particularly made a name for himself when it comes to General Surgery.
• He holds the credit for many research-based publications in national and international journals. He is consistently invited to speak at national seminars, congresses, symposiums, and workshops.
