About Doctor MR. JOHANN DELPORT

He was a member of the orthopaedic and spinal team at London's world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital, where he collaborated closely with Dr. Gavin Spence, who is currently a member of the paediatric staff at Burjeel Hospital Dubai.
He also got the chance to study under
Dr. R. Graf, who pioneered the use of ultrasonography to diagnose hip dysplasia in babies and is a leading specialist in the management of non-surgical cases of DDH.
He was the main therapist for a team in Birmingham during his last few years in the UK.
He specializes in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic disorders.
He established and updated all of the team's procedures and processes to bring them in line with current scientific data as an expert in diagnosing and treating young infants with motor problems and deviations of normal musculoskeletal development.
He also enjoys teaching and has assisted numerous students and junior doctors in developing clinical skills in paediatric orthopaedics.
He enjoys rugby refereeing and is a member of the UAE Referee Society outside of physiotherapy. He also likes to run off-road ultramarathons.
