About Dr. Ilker Cetin
ย Dr ฤฐlker รetin was born in Iฤdฤฑr in 1941, completed his primary education in Ankara, and graduated from Ankara TED College in 1964.ย
He did his military service as a reserve officer teacher in Adana Ceyhan Kurtkuyu Village.ย
He entered Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1964 and graduated in 1970.ย Subsequently, he started to work as an assistant doctor in the Orthopedics and Traumatology department of the same university and received his specialization in 1975.ย
In the following years, he started to work as a lecturer in the same department.ย He was awarded the titles of Associate Professor in 1982 and Professor in 1988.ย
He worked for a short time as the Head of Department at Ankara Dฤฑลkapฤฑ Training Hospital.ย
He retired in 1998 from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Ankara University, where he was the head of the department for a total of 12 years.ย In the same year, he started to work in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Faculty of Medicine of Ufuk University and served as the head of the department.ย
He still serves his patients in his private practice and again at Medicana Ankara International Hospital.
He is the Founding President of the Turkish Arthroplasty (Prosthesis) Association and also a Founding member of the European Arthroplasty Association.ย
He is proficient in English and German languages.ย
