Dr. Vivek Bindal is currently associated as the Associate Director and Head Minimal Access, Bariatric & Robotic
Surgery.
He is a well known Bariatric Surgeon with vast experience of more than 15 years.
He completed his M.B.B.S. in 2004 and M.S. (General Surgery) in 2009 from Maulana Azad Medical College. Further, he pursued D.N.B. (General Surgery) in 2010 from the National Board of Examination.
He holds an Indo US Fellowship in Robotic and Bariatric Surgery from the University Illinois of Chicago and Duke University Medical Centre.
He performed the First Bariatric Surgical Procedure at Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla.
He started the first Indian Chapter of the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (USA).
He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, Clinical Robotic Surgery Association, Obesity Surgery Society of India, Society of American Gastrointestinal & Endoscopic Surgeons, European Association for Endoscopic Surgery, Asia Pacific Hernia Society and Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons of India.
He has penned more than 50 publications in National and International medical journals.
