• Dr (Prof) Digvijay Sharma has a vast experience of over 23 years in the field of medical practice and education.

• Dr. (Prof.) Dig Vijay Sharma has more than 20 years of experience in Vascular Interventions and Surgery.

• He completed the degree of MBBS from Devi Ahilya University, Indore and MS in General Surgery from Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

• His area of interest are: Carotid surgery/Interventions (Stroke prevention clinics) │Advanced aortic interventions and surgery │Limb salvage and Prevention of Amputation │Dialysis access Clinics - creation, maintenance and salvage of dialysis access │Venous clinics - varicose veins and DVT.

•  He has done  training in Vascular Surgery from Singapore General Hospital Post Graduate Medical Institute, Singapore.

• He is a life member of the Nepal Medical Association, Surgical Society of Nepal, European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Nepal Cleft lip and Palate Association, Cancer Society of Nepal, Association of Surgeons of India and Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of India.

• He is one of the youngest professors in Surgery before the age of 40 in Nepal.

• He has also been in the list of ten outstanding persons of Nepal for contribution to surgical services.

• He has also published numerous publications and presentations in different national and international academic journals.

• He has also interest in teaching.
