• Prof. Taner Orug completed his medical studies in 1988 from Ege University Faculty of Medicine  and further went on to get a specialization degree in 1990 from Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery.

• He started his career in 1995 at the İzmir Atatürk Education and Research Hospital, 2nd Surgery Clinic and is currently working at the renowned Medicana Kadıköy Hospital.
